Benslow Baroque Opera returns to the Queen Mother Theatre with a period-style staging, complete with dance, of Henry Purcell's great and moving one-act opera Dido and Aeneas, directed by the world-renowned Jack Edwards. This unmissable event forms the climax of a week-long course at Benslow Music Trust, Hitchin and is preceded by a sequence of choral works from the same period. Leading roles are taken by some of the most promising singers of the younger generation.
