The Diary of Anne Frank

A Bancroft Players production

The Diary of Anne Frank

A play by Frances Goodrich & Albert Hackett
Based upon 'Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl'
Revised by Wendy Kesselman
Directed by Jon Brown

For over two years, eight people were forced to hide from the outside world at war, living on two floors in a 'secret annexe', fearing discovery. One of these people was Anne, a young girl who simply loved the gift of life. On her thirteenth birthday Anne began to write a diary which was to become internationally famous and impact millions of people across the world.

Wendy Kesselman's revision of the diary's stage adaptation is compelling and captivating; revealing the tension, struggle, adolescence, confinement, anger and heartbreak of this utterly delightful yet tragic true story.

Put it in your own diary, and come and see the diary of a young girl alive and in all its beauty on stage!
