DNA
by Dennis Kelly
directed by Katie Milward (Thursday & Saturday)

Being part of the in-crowd can make us do cruel things. Dennis Kelly’s play recalls his own school days and how he went along with things that now appal him just to be part of the gang.
This twenty-first century play for young people calls society’s response to cruelty, bullying, peer pressure and pack mentality into question. Are these behaviors societal and learned, or are they inherent in us all?

A fast paced piece, highlighting important issues and performed by a talented cast.

Fledglings
by Tamsin Daisy Rees
directed by Jenny Wall & Emma Fisher (Friday & Saturday)

Kelsey and Alice have been best mates since they were tiny. After school, they hang out in Kelsey's late Grandad's birdwatching hide, making lists of birds they see and boys they fancy. But when Alice joins Kelsey at secondary school, they find themselves struggling to grow up without growing apart.
A funny and touching play about losing a loved one and finding your identity, beautifully told by four brilliant actors.

A Ghost Story
written & directed by Rory Reynolds (Thursday & Friday)

In an old school, generations of children have heard whispering voices in one particular corridor. But when they investigate further, they find something amazing and disturbing.
