The Shrew

This promises to be an excellent show with a superb cast, but then I guess I would say that! If you knew and loved John Gardiner's work, then this play is a must. It is full of his little idiosyncrasies and almost anarchic at times.

The cast are having a great time rehearsing it and I am sure this will come through to the audience. It is very funny and also fairly short! And in case you have forgotten, it starts on Monday, 30th June running through to Saturday, 5th July.

As a final confirmation, we are performing in the theatre and not in The Dell, this is a question I have been frequently asked - possibly some people are put off with the thought of huddling under umbrellas. If you crave an outside performance, then the Big Spirit performance of "Midsummer Night's Dream" is a not-to-be-missed experience in Barton in the grounds of David & Helen Balfe's house.
