Urgently Required!!!

The Production Team of "The Shrew" are desperately trying to beg, borrow, steal or (dare we say) even hire a tandem for this wonderful show that goes up at the end of June. This extravaganza is relying heavily of bicycles to move its cast around. As it is a shortened version of "Taming of the Shrew", the economies have also gone as far as transport - no fancy cars for them. However, in one Act, we do need to move TWO people off the stage on one vehicle, so would also consider a bike with a seat at the front! I am told such things exist. Do any of you know where we could find such transport? Ideally we would need such item for at least two weeks (preferably longer), to allow for plenty of practise. The actual show dates are Monday, 30th June to Saturday, 5th July.

If you can help, please contact either Keith Swainston on 07799 803623 or Paula Downes on 07778 014428.

PS: Whilst on the subject of this marvellous play (well, we've got to drum up business somehow), we are delighted to advise that one of our leading ladies has been offered a work placement with a theatre production company in Central London. Unfortunately for us, this coincides with our run. So we bid farewell to Sophie Murphy and wish her lots of luck. However we are very fortunate to have secured the services of Andreya Lynham to take over the role of Bianca and welcome her to our cast.
