Production Manager's Slot

What an exciting two months we have had at the Theatre - Old Mother Hubbard's Christmas Adventure filled the theatre with over-excited children, plus mothers fathers and grandparents in a similar state! Well done to Annie, her cast and crew for a really colourful show.

As I write this Helen of Troy is being performed in the Studio - a beautifully performed and sensitively handled piece by the cast. A real tour de force from Zara Schafer and I never knew Charles Plester could shout! Congratulations to everybody.

Currently in rehearsal is Dad's Army. The production is gaining pace, lots of men waving bamboo sticks about. And Larkrise to Candleford with the members of Big Spirit perfecting some wonderful country accents. Tickets for both of these productions are going fast, so don't leave it to the last minute.

Our thriller Deathtrap has been cast and will start rehearsals in a couple of weeks - so you can see much is happening at the theatre.

This brings me to next season. Rory and I have had a few suggestions, so please don't be shy, even if you haven't got the script at this time put forward your suggestion to us for consideration for next season - looking forward to hearing from you all.
