QMT BAR CLOSES!

The headline might be a dramatic one, but the sentiment is very true. We are finding ourselves in a situation where if we don’t get enough volunteers to help run the bar then we will have to start closing it on production nights.

This is not a new problem, nor is it one that only affects the bar, but with the increase in the nights we are open for public performance we really would appreciate more people to offer their services.

The bar is not only a lucrative asset to the theatre, but also an expected accompaniment to an evening out, so if we have to close it our reputation as a venue to fully enjoy a night out is at risk.

So, my message to you all is a simple one; check the dates published in this newsletter and if you can help behind the bar then please contact Maureen Nobes on 01462-436816. Maureen is sitting by the phone now waiting for your call!

In addition we are looking for someone to manage the bar rota from July onwards.
