Audition Notice - "Little Shop of Horrors"

Monday 5th and Wednesday 7th March At 8pm

Performance dates:

2-7 July

The last play of the season (although strictly the first play of next season) is the fantastic musical, Little Shop of Horrors. Books now available from the theatre. I know you all know all about it anyway but here is the list of parts:

SEYMOUR

a loser who dreams of being popular and sexy. (teens to 30s)

AUDREY

A beautiful girl/woman with low self-esteem and a cruel boyfriend(similar age)

MUSHNIK

The owner of Mushnik’s Flower Shop, money-oriented (50+)

CHIFFON, CRYSTAL, RONNETTE

Three street Doo-wap girls (teens to 30s)

ORIN

the cruel dentist (20-30s)

AUDREY II

The voice of the plant - deep an’ sexy

AUDREY II PUPPETEER

must be strong

DERELICTS and others

should be able to dance at least a bit.

The audition will be very straightforward. Please be prepared to sing, preferably a song from the show. Tim will run through some numbers each night beforehand. There will also be a short dance audition – all very simple. As this is the big summer show, we are looking to cast as many of you as possible!
