The work of April de Angelis is being extravagantly praised at the moment and theatre life is clearly a compelling subject for her. Five years ago she wrote Playhouse Creatures, a witty, bawdy and poignant play featuring Nell Gwynne, Thomas Otway, Mrs Betterton and the Earl of Rochester and this immediately became a hit.

Now the theatre company, ‘Not the National Theatre’ are bringing her latest work, Wild East to the QMT on

12th October 2006 at 8pm.
